Dwan vs. Bob Safai
On Poker After Dark, Dwan found the river-over bet before it became popular. Heads up with Bob Safai, Dwan has little chance against Safai’s top pair top kicker. Dwan stays in, calling $12,000 on the turn and then, with the reveal of the river, the opportunities seem to have faded for Dwan. Then Safai checks with over $40K in the pot.

Dwan vs. Eli Elezra
Going against a seasoned pro is not easy, especially when you’re bluffing. Back on Poker After Dark, Dwan flops a flush draw, and calls after Eli Elezra bets $16K. The board paired again on the turn, and Elezra isn’t having it and ups his bet with his nines. Dwan than raises to $72K, a feisty move that finally gets Elezra to fold.
